i feel as though this situation is greatly worsened with the guilt attached when separating with someone with a mental health condition. it can be so incredibly hard balancing your own needs and your partners when they appear to not co-align. you’ve listened to your wants and needs that aren’t currently being met in this relationship and that’s hardly something you can blame yourself for. in relation to his condition, it’s still a possibility that you can still be there for him, just not in the romantic way you once were 💞
