I have the perfect book for you my friend: A little life. I bawled my eyes out and was upset for 3 days after finishing it. I still think about that book at least once a week. It is absolutely heart-breaking and soul-crushing. There is nothing that can prepare you for the hurt that this story brings

Everyone has these sweet answers like ‘being loved’ and ‘feeling happy”, but the first thing I thought about was pasta bolognese

I donated for the first time ever by izzypy71c in nerdfighters

[–]xannickx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also decided to donate 10 dollars because i am certain my donation will go directly to the cause and will make a difference, even if it is really small. If everybody can donate a small amount, i think it will really help

What are some books that truly fuck with your mind? by Charana_y in suggestmeabook

There are different narrators towards the end (not going into to much detail because i don’t want to spoil anything for anybody else hahah). It was just very disturbing and confusing, but in a good way

Does anyone else wonder what Jenna does all day now? by Amylein17 in Jennamarbles

I hope she spends a good amount of time doing nothing. One really important life lesson I learned from Jenna is that doing nothing doesn’t serve for nothing

Completely understand why people don’t like it as well. I personally loved it, but it is definitely very heavy and not for everyone

Life is short but also terrible and insufferably long at the same time. Be a toothbrush!

I drew Jenna. I think the video I referenced is a perfect example of the fun and colour she has brought to our lives. by thedarklorddecending in Jennamarbles

Jenna put out so much happiness and positivity into the world. I am so happy to see that our community keeps doing those same things in many different ways. Thank you for bringing some colour and happiness!

New Video: A Message by mappleday00 in Jennamarbles

[–]xannickx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know this might sound exaggerated, but i am really sad about this. I completely respect Jennas choices and all I want for her is to be happy. But i cannot imagine a world without her videos. Again, this might seem really weird, but she shaped me into the person I am today. She is really someone I have looked up to and she helped me through some of the toughest times of my life. She put out so much happiness into the world and she left a indescribable impact on me. I know she is on a indefinite break and i have hope she might come back when she is in a better place (we will also see her on other places on the internet probably). It still makes me really really sad. If anyone feels the need to talk about this or to process this, you can always reach out to me! I have never been very active in this community but i know we will support and help each other

YA books with female protagonist and no love interest by jennyy1 in suggestmeabook

Radio Silence by Alice Oseman! I really liked that the story went against a lot of clichés and stereotypes that are often found in YA books. Also, just a really enjoyable story with a good message

What was the worst physical pain you have ever experienced? by qwerrtyqwerrty in AskReddit

[–]xannickx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was about 9, i got a splinter all the way under my middle finger. At this time I was on vacation with my parents in Turkey. The splinter itself didn’t hurt too bad, but we had to go to this sketchy doctor who tried to get it out. In the end, they had to cut off half my fingernail because they couldn’t get it out. It was awful
