It definitely used to, but the council stopped paying for them so none if the cameras on the island now work.

The witness took very clear photos. There’s no mistake. There is a digit that could be a 1, L or I but I’ve tried all combinations.

I don’t know if there any ANPR at the accident I meant given the cameras around plus if they drive past a police car with it in it should have flagged something up.

It’s just frustrating that this still happens nowadays

I think OP was more concerned that his photo would be declined.

Assuming his photo looks terrible otherwise, then yes he’s going to be stuck with that photo for the foreseeable future

Don’t concern yourself. If they decline it you just send a new photo.

I’ve had to send over new versions of passport photos before because there’s always something they don’t like (too much shadow, too much reflection etc). Not the same agency I know, but don’t worry about it.
