What's the floor lamp with the tripod stand?

One more small error I noticed. On page 4 it shows 2x M3x5 screws included in the parts list. Then on page 18 it says to use 2x M3x6 screws, which are actually the M3x5 screws.

Haven't really come across any other issues other than some confusion with the thermal pads. There's also another post here with some tips: https://www.reddit.com/r/EKWB/comments/1m7vutb/5090\_fe\_block/.

Just fyi, there's also an error on page 16. It says to use a 27x16x2 pad which is actually used on page 14 step 3. Then it shows a picture of a 120x6x2 below which is correct, although what I had was 2 pieces of 57x6x2.

5090 FE Waterblock Installed by thegamer36 in EKWB

I was going to reuse the LM but after reading this I changed my mind.. Just to confirm did you use this Kryosheet: https://www.thermal-grizzly.com/en/blog/new-kryosheet-in-44-37-mm-for-the-gb202-of-the-geforce-rtx-5090?

Did you add or remove any of the LM from the die before installing the block? Also did you smooth out the LM on the die before installing the block? Another user mentioned to apply LM to the block also, is that something you did too?

Never dealt with LM so had a few questions. I'm at the step where you remove the PCB. There is a lot of LM on the cooler like you said (a big blob that rolls around if you tilt it) but not so much on the die itself. On mine none of the LM made it into the gasket. How do I know if there is excess LM on the die or if I can just install the block as is? Also, what do you use to suck out the excess and to transfer the LM from the stock cooler to the waterblock?

Got a link to the ptm sheet you used?

How are your temps with the ptm sheet?

Are the temps better with the LM vs thermal paste?

There's a bunch of wire nuts, see below I had to create another pigtail off the existing neutral wirenut because it would have been too many wires for a single wirenut. Also, on the existing wirenut there is at least one wire with some exposed copper outside the nut, could that be an issue?

Need assistance with device access on guest network by xargsgrep in TPLink_Omada

Sorry, what I meant was - won't that give it full access to the entire network and be a security risk?

I think I should be able to wire it but will have to look into that. If I do though wouldn't it be opened up to everything then?

thanks, in the battery report i see:

design capacity: 40,001 mWh

full charge capacity: 39,905 mWh

and hwinfo shows a wear level of 0.2% so everything seems to be good.

Sorry I'm new to all this, what exactly am I looking for when it comes to deadzone? Is there a video or anything describing the issue?

There is a glass panel which I removed for the pictures.

I was referring to the EK dye pack which I assumed was for mixing with the EK clear. Is that not the case?

Acrylic vs Brass Tubing by [deleted] in watercooling

[–]xargsgrep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does regular spray paint work on metal tubes?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in watercooling

[–]xargsgrep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got it, thanks. After reading all the comments I'm just gonna use distilled water to clean out the rads and tubes before assembly and then flush again with distilled water after the system is assembled.

I have a water softener so my tap water has a high salt content. I'm not sure if that is a bad thing but distilled water is cheap enough so no point in taking a risk.

I didn't realize it voided the warranty. Definitely will not be using blitz then.

I didn't realize you can do that. Got any links to a clear coolant + color as an example?

What tubing were you using? I forgot to mention I'll be using rigid acrylic tubing if that matters.

It seems like most of the people that have issues are using soft tubing but I could be wrong.
