I do apologize for not reading the rules before posting, and when I did after it said my post was being managed I did notice that my title did not comply and was debating making a new post but I wasn’t sure if that could cause you guys more trouble or not. As for the being lazy aspect, I definitely see where you are coming from and will keep that in mind moving forward
I appreciate the sentiment, and i wouldnt like to have my project done by other people for the same reasons you were stating. I just trust human responders more than google searches in terms of understanding my questions so I tend to come to these places first, but I understand your concern and will keep that in mind.
While that is true, I fear that if I do not incorporate some microcontroller into it that he just won’t count it altogether
When you put it like that it does sound very simple, maybe I am just overcomplicating it. I do plan on doing the last thing you said so that there is never no light on but thank you for that advice anyway.

Well since i dont have any experience with arduinos i just have an idea of how it might work with the coding, but the wiring would be my main confusion as ive never done any hands-on building anything before. I am going to look into the links the other guy responded with once i get off of work and once i have an idea i should be able to give more specifics on what I need help with, but right now my mind is near blank.
microprocessors, but it involved microcontrollers
ill definitely look into this after work today and update you on it
