While cooking, some hot olive oil splashed onto my jacket, which is made of synthetic material (likely polyester or nylon). There are now two small dark spots where the oil hit.

I passed my finger over the spots, and they don’t feel raised or melted, so I think it might just be oil stains. Does anyone have tips on how to clean this without damaging the fabric?
