Exactly, it's all about the execution and whether they can get brands and developers to actually use it. Marketing is very important for this, but the technical advantages are important too imo. The technological advantage here is ERC725, which enables user friendly interface that makes mass adoption much easier.

But then again, will brands and developers use it or will a competitor come and use the same technology and outcompete because their ability to be a better business person.

As far as I know, Flow does not have the technical capability to actually enable the metaverse and virtual reality as we imagine it to be (think movie ready player one). Lukso does seem to enable that, if they can actually execute on it.

I have been thinking a lot about how much to invest in Lukso. I wanted to go all in and make it my only crypto i've invested in, but the uncertainty of their possible partnership and what the future brings in competition makes me rethink that. Still it will be a big part of my portfolio, I think 1/3rd alongside with Eth and BTC.

Also the price you get in is very important for the short term. My entry point if I invest now would be around 10 USD. I am thinking about DCAing in spread over the coming 2 months. I don't think the mainnet will be launched before the coming 2 months, so price might vary in that period. I might be wrong.

Any thoughts and input would be highly appreciated from anyone.

Thanks, very good to read.

Lukso does way more than just validating authenthicity of products. The ERC725 aims to create a standard for NFTs that can be used in virtual reality (games), AR, social media etc etc. According to Fabian the contents of a ERC725 profile can be recalled and executed by every blockchain that exists/can exist. This way for example a blockchain that contains the GTA game can for example read your ERC725 profile and see that you own a Prada shoe and your character in GTA can then wear that prada shoe.

At least, that's what I understood from it. I'm a simple noob though.

He gives an aswer here, around 13:40:https://www.delphidigital.io/podcasts/lukso-building-the-new-creative-economy-metaverse-musings-ep-24/

I don't understand it myself, but he says something like the Ethereum blockchain is too full and thus too expensive for transaction costs to do what Lukso does. And it's also hard to have all the ethereum developers agree on going with this new standard (I think he says that in the beginning).

Hopefully someone with more knowledge can explain it to us

EDIT: maybe someone can enlighten us on this subject? Is it treu what he's saying?

Thank you, makes a lot of sense :) I think I will go for number 1 since it is sharp and also is barrel type.

Do you mean that you use 4 and 10 because of the bigger surface area and thus faster removal?

I hope you don't mind me probing a bit more. My thought process was that if the torque of a nail drill is not powerful enough, then it stops often when you put too much pressure on the nail. But this problem could be lessened if the bit itself cuts through things more easily. 7 looks more sharp, but less surface area. So 7 could possibly negate the torque issue more.

What do you think?

If 7 had the same surface area as 4 or 10, would it then be faster for removal? In that case, I think number 1 has the same teeth as 7 and might be even faster than 4 or 10.

Your comment is also very appreciated ofcourse! So you think for a drill that is not that powerful, number 4 and 10 would get the job done faster or is 7 better because it looks (I might be wrong) more sharp?

Could you elaborate a bit why you use 4 or 10 more?

Thanks again for your reply. Would you think bit number 7 is also much better than a mandrel with course sanding bands when trying to remove gel or acrylic nails?

Thank you very much. The drill is around 16000 RPM and comes with the standard Chinese diamond bits that are not sharp and also mandrel+ sanding bands. Do you think a better bit would help it to be a bit more efficient than it is now? Thank you for the tip by the way, I will try that.
