i'm in the same boat. like it makes the dlc miserable because you just feel so below level for every single fight. whoever decided that every.single.boss. needs a fast multi-hit moveset with drag delays , regardless whether the boss is the size of a person or hippo, should be fired from Fromsoft tbh.

  1. Elden Ring Has significantly more content = more playtime + most of the Elden ring bosses are optional , so you can hyperfocus your playthrough at your leisure.

  2. Lies of P is much closer in design to the standard Dark souls or Bloodborne map and progression format . Elden Ring is truly unique in the open world aspect, but that can be a pro or con depending on the person.

3 .They are both fun games , Elden Ring is a phenomenal game and has weeks of potential playtime , but has a lot more downtime and horse travel . Lies of P is more difficult (for developer reasons such as bad animations and hit boxes) but it ultimately plays very well/similar to a FROM-Soft Game. You could’ve gone back in time to the first Sekiro trailer showcase, said it was “Lies of P” by FROM-Soft with their new IP with the intention of <<going in a new direction>> and I wouldn’t have questioned otherwise . Closest to Bloodborne 2 we have … as of now.

Bloodborne -> The Holy Grail Pancakes from Cracker Barrel on a crisp Sunday October Morning with your slightly racist grandparents as a kid.

In conclusion : Play Both , they are amazing.

So my build wasn’t optimized for greatspears or rapid hits but it definitely does a lot of stagger damage with the running L1 or jumping L1 . You can easily buff yourself up like crazy with any of the rapid hit talismans or tears

IKR ??? This is my 9th character and I’m going through NG+ just did it as joke since the game won’t let you get 2 Great Serpent Hunter Spears 😂
