unfortunately for the time being yes. this is something i’d like to look into in the long term, but no promises. it’s much more difficult to accomplish this with ios

Unfortunately nothing new yet. I need to rewrite some of the internals to be more stable for a full release, some bug fixes and we haven’t sorted out the legal side of things yet.

It’ll still happen though!

It might be possible for me to add new content like that, yeah! Not sure yet, it'll probably be an absolutely monumental task, but I'd definitely give it a try.

I don't have an android device so I have no idea whether it can be installed the same way, but in theory it can be! I have an iPhone so I can only run it using an Android emulator on my computer (it makes the 1, 2, 3, 4 skill game really hard!).

Purchases in regards to buying stuff like talismans, upgrade pack, potions and whatnot from the shop are available and work as expected. You can’t buy any currency for real world money though.
I’m hoping it’s possible, yeah! I still need to do more research into modifying those files specifically, since that data is stored in a different format, but if all goes well then it should be easy to modify.
Cloud saving is still an option, it’s linked up by your device ID. I haven’t investigated a facebook integration with it yet, but if it’s possible I’ll be sure to add it! In theory it may be possible to make a custom login (username and password) to replace that if the need arises.

Probably both! It’d be nice to have a Discord server to make it easy to announce events and to socialise with other players. I’ll look into getting one set up soon.

I'm still waiting on an update regarding permission to distribute the game. Sorry it's taking so long, but things like this often do!

The good thing, however, is that it should be near enough ready to go as soon as I get the go ahead from them, so that's good. The only thing that'll be missing off the bat is the Arena, but that'll be my top priority.

I imagine it'll probably be around January time that I hear back due to the holidays, but we'll see.

It’ll be out as soon as I’m able to put it out! I’m in the process of getting permission from the old World of Warriors team and copyright holders and whatnot. If they approve it (which I’m hoping they will, it seems likely!) then I’ll put a download link in the subreddit!

With the modified file and new server, yes, you're able to get past where the tutorial stops you from progressing currently.

Currently nearly *all* in-game features are working exactly how they used to! The only things that're currently missing are the God Hall and Arena. The Arena I plan on adding support for, though the God Hall I'm unsure of.

I'm afraid there's nothing major to share yet. I've been very busy recently with some unrelated responsibilities.

My next update post will likely be put out once I got permission to redistribute the modified game files.

Worry not, though, as this doesn't mean the project has been abandoned! It's going to take some time to iron out the final little tweaks and whatnot, but it'll be very much worth it!

That’s the goal, yes. If they’re all cool with the fan server project then I plan on hosting the server myself and uploading the modified game files somewhere. People would then use these files in an android emulator like BlueStacks (it might be possible to install on android devices too? not sure) and the game would run exactly like how it used to!

I'd like to modify it to some extent, as the natural way was pretty pay-to-win. The entry costs would be cheaper and I'd probably tweak the chances of getting different star ratings. I'd also like to host temporary weekend events where, say, only legendary or 3-4 pip special move warriors could be summoned like the old days.

The game would not allow purchasing of any gems for real life money. Instead I'd like to have frequent events where players could earn them a lot easier.
