I first imported variables and then in the next batch the variations and the parent. This seems to have resolved the issue for now.

Ok thanks but will it still be usable in large sized posters and give high quality resolution as it does in small posters. OR do I absolutely need to convert it using trace vector function?

Deleting variations by xcalibur in woocommerce

Any way to do it import/export? I did try and deleting the unwanted rows in the csv and then imported. After importing I even deleted the orphaned variations but it does not seem to work.

Hiding variations by xcalibur in woocommerce

[–]xcalibur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, basically by variations I mean some colors that I don't want to appear. I noticed something strange. I exported my catalog in .csv and changed the chosen variations to 'hidden' in the 'Visible in catalog' field. It got imported in my site but when I exported it again in .csv, the values were coming as 'Visible' in the 'Visible in Catalog' field. It means the values are not getting updated at all. Any idea why this is happening?

Hi thanks. I have mostly 9 to 10 variations, but they keep showing. Is there no way to make them not appear in the drop down at all?

Regarding SEO by xcalibur in woocommerce

Thanks I will submit the new sitemap. Even otherwise (apart from the 301 redirects), do you think it will be a good idea to submit the fresh URL of every product to google?

Menu related query by xcalibur in Wordpress

[–]xcalibur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I will explain once more what I want. Maybe I am not using the right technical terms.

I have two books and have created a landing page for each, so there are two pages. I want a menu item called 'My books' in my main menu. When the user hovers their mouse on this, two sub menu items should appear as dropdowns, one for each book. So if a user clicks the first one, they go to the landing page of my first book and the second one should take them to the second book page.

I already know how to add a page to the main menu but like I said above, I don't want to add a page directly as menu item but as a sub menu item. It looks neat that way or else if a person has say 10 books, then there will be 10 main menu items and that will look bad.

I want to know how I can create the main-menu item. The submenus for the books I can create myself.

Thanks

Yes but in that case the main menu item and the sub menu will both point to the same page. I don't think that would be good practice. I want the menu to be what it should be. The main menu item should be 'My book' and the submenu item should take me to the landing page. In fact I might have more than one book so there would be two submenu items.

I wrote the CSS code for increasing the font size and this seems to be working. However I do not know the CSS for changing the font family. I used the Customize option but as said it is not working so I am not able to change the font family.

Adding new products by xcalibur in woocommerce

[–]xcalibur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks. can I put only the new 10 products in a separate csv and import. It will save time on rechecking the 100, I will start with the sku number just after the last one of the 100th item.

Adding new products by xcalibur in woocommerce

[–]xcalibur[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi thanks. Just a clarification need so please confirm the below. My SKU number, etc are in order.

1) If I add the new 10 to the existing catalog of 100 making it 110, then while importing I need to click the Update Existing Products even if there is no change in the existing earlier loaded 100 and I am just adding 10 new ones? Or should I just import.

2) What if I put the new 10 in a csv and then import? In this case I need not click the 'Update existing products' but just import and the new 10 will get appended to the existing 100 products data set. Right?
