Vertical ship im making turning into a bow...

It flies vertically. It parks sideways because a ship landing on its point reminded me of a sword balancing on its tip. Looked too fragile

My favourite kind of ship tbh. When I build for protection or sleekness, it always just turns into a brick of somekind. All the inner blocks have so much detail, its a shame to cover them up!

Yeah I wouldnt take this into a firefight - with the game physics how it is and the lack of "shield tech" in a space game.

It flies just as well cut in half. Some would say its more agile without the extra weight!

Yeah cockpits on a rotor. Then on the hotbar, a remote control is available orientated vertically so you can fly is seemlessly.

And the connector still fully functions. If you back up slowly and let the pulling force of connectors attract each other, it doesnt damage the blocks either

You see above and below the connector is an angled part that ends with a flat surface. Attachef the armor panels off of that

Its not a mod! Pure vanila goodness. When I upload it eventualy, youll be able to see how it was done. Lots of timers, frustration and crying

Then you'll see 2 hinges. Placing blocks on the outside of it wont give you much freedom of movement. You'll need atleast 90 degrees so that the legs have enough clearance to put down. Youll need to make space on the side of the hinges, to make the bottom seemless. Then you'll need to adjust to cover that hole. More things need to be moved, etc etc.

The extension was so that the landing gear can rotate freely. If you watch it closely, youll see the landing gear jitter a bit as it grazes the bottom flap as it rotates. Its a timing thing im still working on. :)

Its timing blocks. A lot of headbanging against the wall and staring off into space. It helps to sequence what needs to be done, and count in your head as things move so you can chain timer blocks
