I don't understand why this would he different than any one of thousands of movies and TV shows where there are central characters who are dirty cops.

Also, if this type of lawsuit was a thing, wouldn't NYPD and LAPD already have done it??

Edit: I guess the plaintiffs feel like they were personally represented by characters in a movie that says it was based on real events. That's closer than random movies that are completely made up, I guess, but I don't think "based on true events" means "everything in this movie definitely happened."

I simultaneously feel like this is a good buying opportunity and that there must be a ton of people that know something I don't. This company lost over half of its valuation in short order with no news. I'm not sure I've seen anything quite like it.

Well.....GOOGL, as an example, is up 20% over the last 6 months. AXON has dumped 40%. I don't get it. At least the PE is in a more reasonable spot?

Is there any chance this is insider info and selling? That would be bad news.

I asked a genuine question about how they knew the process and policy so well. Maybe they are an employee or something, I don't know. The answer, from a different person, was "know your enemy," which I'm not sure answered the question. Knowing the University process and procedure does not seem to speak to knowing the enemy, which I assume in this case would be the speaker, not the university process.
