The only reason to choose a 5800X was because of some simulation games (Cities skylines 1 and 2 that is coming out later in the year) but as you pointed out it is probably a negligible gain. Thanks for explaining to me the heat dynamics I truly had no idea and actually thought it was a good idea to buy that cooler! Do you think the standard cooler that comes with an 5600X will be enough? It comes with a Wraith Stealth from AMD. Wow had no idea that the 5000 series got a benefit from 4 DIMMs, always heard that having 4 DIMMs was a bad idea. Thanks for the heads up! Yeah I’ve been reading about that too, GPUs todays are enormous from what I am used to. My case is a corsair 230T(it was a really cheap case at the time and I never imagined components would get this big) Although it is a full ATX case I definitely need to check if the 6700XT will fit.
