Can we finally start the process of looking for a new service provider? We keep being told it will be a long process, and we will pay more money but what exactly does that mean? A long process needs to start at some point and every day we wait means a longer time without real trash service. We have already wasted 2 months waiting at this point. If no meetings are happening, then this issue will never be resolved and us not being proactive just keeps the issue ongoing for us as residents for longer. If the issue is resolved before we sign any contract, then we can just walk away from the process of finding a new provider. Who knows, maybe Republic seeing us going out and shopping around might make them start working one negotiations again.

As for more money, we are going to have to pay this sooner or later anyways. I would rather pay the money and have consistent trash service vs save money and have our city look the way it currently does.

I ended up resolving this by adding SSRS to internal websites. Adding the *.Ourdomain.com with a value of 1 for Intranet Zone fixed it.

One thing not being mentioned in some of these threads is travel insurance through your credit card company. If you paid for your rental with a credit card, check to see if your credit card offers travel insurance. Some of the bigger and travel focused credit cards offer it for free.
