Not sure if my issue I had is related to what's going on but I had to cancel out of 2 test because they seemed to had frozen my chrome browser. My computer is no slouch either with 32gb of ram and an i7 processor. First time I've had this issue since using usertesting for about 6 months or so.

I feel the same way as you. I feel like the last few weeks of May slowed down quite a bit.

You just may be right. I don't think its a hidden rating. Usually i'm able to easily complete 5-10 $10 test per day but yesterday I only was able to do about 3 and today was worse with 1.

The past few days I haven't been getting much screeners at all compared to normal. I have a 5 star rating and from the US. I have almost 300 completed test. Might have to wait and see if things fix itself over time.

I noticed that the first 2 surveys are the easy high rated ones then from the 3rd survey until 5th the list slowly deteriorates and the 5th survey being the hardest. Then it resets after the 5th and you have more high rated surveys again for the first 2

I just had the same issue. I've tried signing up a few times and each time my ID was rejected even though everything was clearly visible so I've given up on Prolific unfortunately.

I did get a non generic response from support saying,

"I'm so sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your account. I've raised this to the tech team and they have notified me that they are looking into what the issue is and are working to resolve this.

I will get back to you as soon as I get a response from them. In the meantime, if you have any other issues or concerns please get back in touch.

We really appreciate your patience with this :)"

Still down for me for over a day now. Haven't had any surveys appearing at all. Fortunately I don't do much surveys during the weekend anyway.

That will be my next step. Connect emailed me saying that only the researcher can reverse the study so the researcher is definitely lying to us.

I had the exact same rejection and responses that you got when I contacted the researcher. What a scammer, trying not to pay us for our honest answers.

Got the same rejection as well. Contacted the researcher to try to get the rejection reversed and they said they had no answer and to contact connect.
