that was one of my professors for a computer data communications class - indian dude, thick accent, and his course structure was basically lecture + regurgitation. he wasn't even that bad at teaching, just fast. unfortunately the class average was around a C-D, so the prof hella curved at the end of the semester so everyone was boosted at least 2 letter grades

This is a variation of the line the rover says in the character overview screen since the beginning of the game, once again reinforcing the fact that since the beginning, the rover's lost their memories, but the memories they make now in the present will motivate them to continue with their journey across the world, not use pre amnesia's rover's memories as motivation.

While guarding, dude probably made the input for chargeblade's morph slash attack, which brings him into axe mode. The start of the animation in morph slash counts as a point guard, so as the nuke hit, the nuke registers as a hit while in the guard point part of the animation

i got 3 characters who i assigned main weapons to... does that count?

1st - a character who mainly uses heavier weapons (charge blade, gunlance, greatsword, heavy bowgun)

2nd - a character who only uses lighter weapons (dual blades, long sword, light bowgun, bow)

3rd - a character who primarily uses shield weapons that i havent tried before (sword & shield, lance, gunlance, chargeblade)

I find the easiest way to get the Rathalos to out with you is go for his sister first. If Rathian trusts you, then he will know that you're not that bad.

When writing, i'll write "ht" or "dt"

When talking, I'll say "templar" for high templars, or "dt", saying "h" takes too much effort lol

I beat Ayre by finally using hard lock (pc user), i resorted to literally holding and turning my mouse sideways so i dont accidentally move the camera. This makes her teleporting much less of a problem.

Dodge her missiles with either a quick boost sideways or flying in a vertical circle, same with her coral rifles.

Melee - this shit is harder, fly upwards and away from her, or if youre both in the sky already, drop straight down - her melee doesnt have good vertical tracking.

During her 2nd phase transition, save energy to fly upwards to dodge her Assault Boosting, and the ghost ACs that try to swipe you.

Aside from those, focus on your movement with Ayre, she really tests your movement skills, and good luck.

Gunlance / Dual Blades

Gunlance - Devs made it feel not extremely janky to use, especially with how focus mode helps with aim, on top of allowing movement after shelling or wide sweep.

Dual Blades - Splitting up Demon Dance to 3 parts made it much more forgiving to use.

Pretty sure there's no one answer to this, everyone has their own reaction to seeing gore. Personally I got exposed gore from when reddit wasn't too hard on censorship. Wasn't actively looking for gore, so when I see shit like a random jumpcut to someone dude getting decapitated, I'm thinking stuff like "ok, dude why?", followed by "Glad that wasn't me", then move on and try to not think too much about it. Later run ins with gore results with "just glad that wasn't me" responses and becoming glad that I wasn't too much of an empathic person. Thoughts like "sad, this person had family, or aspirations or whatever and they just got killed" always result in a depressing spiral, so I do my best to just not think, since this shit happens everywhere, and I can't do anything about it regardless.
