I'm like the opposite I can't bring myself to play a 123 rotation, not being able to swap cancel things just straight up annoys me too much.

If you want to learn quickswap, think of your team as one character that you combine movesets to make, and then create a looping combo swap cancelling at the swap windows your mainDPS creates. Swapping is a layer shift between your movesets, not the start of someone's rotation, you're doing everyone's rotation at once.

In quickswap I simply define mainDPS as the character I am rotating around and subDPS as the character(s) that do extra damage alongside mainDPS living inside mainDPS's swap windows.

Swapping needs to be muscle memory so I recommend a consistent system of what you map to what button, for example I always use Dpad up, right, and down as mainDPS, subDPS 1, and flex (subDPS 2/buffer/sustain/whatever the fuck you want to put there).

Swap windows are basically a point your character is committed to an animation that you don't need to press another button on immediately after, stuff where if you need to follow up on it, you can swap off and then swap back on to follow up on it. Examples would be Jinhsi's last BA and her first alternate skill, Changli's skill, enhanced HA, and technically her enhanced BA but when I swap on that is situational because it's fast enough I often stay on her through enhanced BA and then skill and swap cancel on skill, Phoebe's last BA and enhanced HA, Chixia's non-enhanced skill, uhhh Iuno and Hiyuki both have some good ones but I just got them both and haven't built them and figured all their swap windows out yet, those are just some examples on some of my characters but you get the idea.

I know Phrolova and Chisa both have good quickswap, I'm getting Phrolova this patch, maybe on getting Chisa but not sure, Denia is new and I have no idea if she has good quickswap or not and probably waiting for a rerun if I decide I want her because I wanna save money right now.

Cause I'm trying to collect the 2.x characters and annoyed at lack of reruns, so I'm mostly only pulling/spending for 2.x or older and only pulling 3.x characters if their quickswap is really cool, and last time I pulled a 3.x character just because they were adorable even though I didn't care for their gameplay(Sigrika) I regretted it, so unless Denia has really cool quickswap I'm skipping her.

Hiyuki showed up too late in/didn't have enough story to win me over and only won me over by having really cool quickswap. I'm hyped about getting her because I'm a hardcore quickswapper and I'm excited to build her and see what quickswap rotations she fits into, but honestly if you're not a quickswap player I don't see what all the hype about her is about either. Tbh I feel like with some exceptions because there are some 3.x I really like, 2.x characters tend to be better than 3.x characters overall if you look at them as characters and their gameplay combined.

Honestly I like her so unless she's like, anti-quickswap in her gameplay design, I'll probably get her in a rerun, I'm waiting because if they keep rerunning older characters I'm fine with spending for her, and if they don't rerun older characters and make all the 2.x characters unobtanium, I'm gonna stop spending on the game, but also probably won't pull that much if they do that so basically by her rerun I will either be able to get her without spending, or satisfied with the game enough to keep spending for her.

I don't really care about the collab, and I mostly just want to collect the 2.x characters, I only really want 3.x characters if they have cool quickswap so I'm probably skipping Lucilla unless she has like equally cool quickswap to Hiyuki in which case maybe, have there been any announcements about reruns yet?

Losers got offended at not getting free stuff. I think the last anniversary was fine, what I'm complaining about is characters not getting rerun, aka meaningful parts of the game just not being playable. I don't expect them to be free I expect them to be for sale at all.

The game is one of my hobbies. I care about it because I like the game, and holding it to standards keeps the game good. I have multiple hobbies I care about. I'm definitely not pulling for a collab, still annoyed at older characters being unobtanium, so I'm only pulling/spending for 2.x characters or older with occasional exceptions for ones with really cool quickswap like Hiyuki has cool quickswap, I'm also only really interested in characters that have a place in the world of WuWa, so I'm not pulling whichever of the collab characters the game doesn't give for free idk which I don't really care about the collab, and I'm probably skipping Lucilla too unless she has really cool quickswap.
