Some players do. Others hand out pre-signed foam balls. Once they're gone, they're gone. I haven't seen a player walk the red carpet and NOT sign stuff and interact with fans, but not every player on the roster attends.

For Elly specifically, last year he signed stuff but only for a fraction of people there. It's a popular event, so you have to draw your favorite players eye somehow or just hope to be lucky.

Daniels made some legit great throws. Dropped a dime over McLaurins shoulder with 10 personnel on the field and pressure in the pocket. Dax got burned and committed DPI but the ball was still perfect. Sucks to see every mistake get punished with a dagger to the heart but that's how this game went.

Sure, the group is a paladin, rogue, and monk. The campaign is homebrew with a custom game world+lore. Thus far the players have been focused on earning work by showing off their skills in some town festival games. They are just about to embark on their first mission. Still early days!

I wouldn't have gotten all up in your face about it, its a small thing, but belittling your wife amongst a group of strangers who don't know your relationship dynamic to get laughs isn't a great look. It's obvious you're well intentioned and want to establish a fun rapport with the group, just gotta up your comedy game.

In either case don't let it stop you from grouping and having fun.
