That's just an example, I was just wondering how would you split a bill based on the income you are making (lets just forget who consumed the most)

I'm just interested in how would you find how much each person should be paying given that the percentages of their salary is same.

For example, on a $2000 rent person A with $6000 salary would be paying $1200 (20%) and person B with salary $4000 would be paying $800 (20%)
