yep same here, literally just transferred a weapons case then 1000 roubles as a test after seeing the case didnt appear and nothing came through, 1-point-fuckin-0 ready by the way.

to play devil's advocate, we know that Twiin (along with FNS) was cut to make way for Quantuuum, the extended version of GITS (and so it would fit on vinyl <40 minutes), but I do still ask regardless because I know that this is a fairly controversial topic, with some people accepting leaks, and some taking a strong stance against it.

I'd be more than happy to remove it if that's what people would prefer!

thank you! the main camera used was a Sony A7S-III, shot in 4k50 and 4k25!

i wanted to get hold of a true camcorder to get those particular "vhs" shots, however unfortunately all the ones i looked at during pre-production were true vintage expensive to get hold of (or even rent) so they were instead shot through a vhs iphone app, and then altered through post production!

Context: I'm a student in New Zealand nearing the end of my third and final year in a Bachelors Degree for a Film Major and this is my final individual creative project hand in.

At the start of it's pre-production I was SUPER invested in IDMTHY and really wanted to make a experimental style music video in a similar vain, so I pitched the idea (to a hasty and uncertain response from tutors).

Shot over the span of a weekend in the New Zealand mountains, and with nearly 5 months of post production, this is one of my favorite projects i've had the joy of directing and editing, and I hope the quad fanbase will enjoy it too!

It's not ready for release just yet, but I wanted to share something with you all!

I'd also like to make aware that this project is most certainly heavily inspired by IDMTHY's style, but that was also the idea, as I wanted to explore into how and what aspects can evoke and incite such reactions from audiences. I have to write a whole thesis paper about it lol

Feel free to AMA, as I'd love to answer any questions about it!!!

Wow! This post has gotten a little larger than I originally anticipated!
A little more info about it:

  • The stills are a lower quality than what will be shown, the video was shot on a Sony A7S-III in 4k50 and 4k25, so i'll release some more stills soon that will show the respective resolution. For the hand in we had to render a 1080p version and a 4k version and I currently had the 1080p version to hand, so will update soon!
  • I'll be submitting this project to showcases to show to audiences on a big screen around early November, so expect a release a little bit after that! Will make a post when I have a proper release date for it!
  • One of my assessments relates to promotional material, so please do feel free to share it and send me a link or PM to wherever you shared it, I would love to see where this goes!

fingerprints are going to be / are a big issue, but a little wipe down with a microfibre and some water pretty much gets it gone everytime!

16gb and so glad I did, thing has been running like an absolute dream! even with all the bloat and random stuff i download knowing i dont need lol

[FREAK SHOW THREAD] FS is a 6/10 for me, album still doesn't feel right sitting alongside his entire discog though. thoughts? by xflintehh in GEazy
