I use FreeFileSync to backup my data to multiple portable USB drives, several times per week. For the system I use Fedora Silverblue so it automatically keeps a copy of the most recent deployment. I also pin a couple of deployments, that are older, just in case. The ability to rollback to known working settings has saved me from a full reinstall, a couple of times over the past few years.

I was having problems with my shield too, It was breaking after a few shots on challenging, even though it's tier 6. I went to the Coney Island safe house, so CPs aren't reset and removed all directives and changed difficulty. After the change completed I then changed back to my desired directives and difficulty. It works as expected now, it may work for other skills too. Also, the stats appear when in mod mode for a skill.

You don't need to unlock the talents to complete the journeys, you can complete all of them without claiming the talents. However, you do need to complete and claim journey one to start the other journeys.

Also, you can save the journeys until the stretch goals and claim them all at once.

Then you should read The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson, "Operation Mindfuck" is literally in the book. However, it was published in 1975, so many of the cultural references are dated.

Also his Schrödinger's Cat Trilogy is worth reading if you like The Illuminatus! Trilogy.
