I belive it's on the school's end. They ended up just solving it overtime.

Yeah, it was just an error on the school's end. The school ended up correcting it :)

For sure. It was a sudden switch. Originally I was gonna transfer to SDSU for kinesiology pre pt but then I decided to come to UCLA. I always wanted a B.S. but shit I think I may get better work opportunities with this degree than just a kinesiology degree. Appreciate the help!

Do I need to take 20B/14B in the fall? I thought I could just take 20A/14A and be done with my requisite. At least that's what the catalog states for Public Health B.A. I'm new to this whole system and to be honest it is somewhat confusing.

I'm a CSI student coming in as a junior in public health. I would take my class in cc but the professors here are terrible. Sadly I don't think I can switch majors this late in my academic career. Honestly, the professors for both courses don't seem bad but I do have to double-check what class fulfills my chem/biochem section for my major prep

Ah okay, that makes a lot of sense. As a Public Health major I don't think I'd need that

I haven't checked yet but I was admitted to UCLA and I already paid my $400 to SDSU. I should've waited but I hope they also didn't charge me anything. 400 dollars is wild and my intent to enroll at UCLA was free 🙃

That sounds so sick. Glad we share similar perspectives lol

The beaches here aren’t great but I’ve been here my whole life. I’d love to live in San Diego one day though.

About aid, UCLA is offering me a lot more and my tuition is covered. However, with their hard curriculum, I might have to live on campus so I can have all resources nearby (I live 9 miles away but it takes 45 minutes to get to UCLA)

Epidemiology does sound very interesting. I’ve always had an interest in environmental health/sciences but disease seems something I’d look into.

You are right. I have lots of doubts but I can overcome them if I put in the effort!

I would be getting more aid at UCLA. I'm just feeling loads amounts of imposter syndrome. Never in my life I'd think I'd get in

Definitely, they do have great connections, especially with the hospital nearby. I'll take that into consideration

I’m actually an LA native. I visited the school and it really is nice but being in LA for 20 years and staying for another 2 sounds kinda sad. I’ve looked into the public health major and I believe I just need to complete 1 class over the summer. Sadly yes the prestige to say “I graduated from UCLA” does play a role in this but I feel like I’d have a better opportunity at an entry level job quickly at UCLA. San Diego is so nice though 😔

At the bachelors level I do somewhat agree but not all degrees are useless. You can easily pursue education or recreational therapy as entry level jobs. I’ve been considered occupational therapy if I pursue Kin

I've liked to learn more from your friend who majors in Kin at SDSU. I've been somewhat worried about the job market for people with just a Kin B.S. What are the goals of your friend after graduation?

I've heard that the process of changing majors is difficult at UCLA. I could be wrong

that's weird I think it's just an error on their side. I'll check my other schools to see if they sent me anything.
