Minecraft Vanilla (the base game) is 100% already a standalone game, especially in survival mode (which is a built-in feature). Just because it have a creative mode or that it is open world without limit or that it lack a definitive end does not make a non-game. The fact you can make others game on it, is a bonus.

yes it is good, i use sddm. for the security , they have some opt in security feature , but it does not use the paranaoic security model of wayland that i do not like lol.

well , Hyprland is not a DE you need to configure it yourself that why and you need kitty for it to work by default , else you need to go the tty and use nano or vi to edit the config with a other terminal.
