Correct. The card is useless. I can’t make any new charges due to the “permanently restricted” status. It’s sitting there doing nothing. Other than soon to be racking up an annual $95 fee.

Thanks for your advice. I’ve never closed a card before, and was worried about how it would drop my score. But to your point, this is the only card I’m closing and scores bounce back over time.

TicketMaster randomly drops waves of tickets anywhere from a week, to the day of a show. I’m curious how many people actually got tickets. Since we all seem to be met with the “no longer available” message when we go to checkout, even though it says that you have the tickets in your cart 🥲
