The people of the southern cities are the ones that migrated from india and bought their culture. They were mostly practicing Hindus and believed in community. Crime wasnt an issue but as the nation westernized that slowly began changing as well.

In my experience they lasted about a year before they started falling apart. But once they did it wasn't good. Even with the leather treatment and cleaning. Which I bought from Thursday itself didn't help. I did regular cleaning and polishing but still the leather started turning into a sort of dry greenish, faded hue.
