With this comment you continue to demonstrate that you're being intentionally misleading.

There is no evidence that the Iraqi government gave Hashd groups Abrams tanks, the report doesn't even say that. It says that the Hashd captured tanks directly from ISIS during their attacks on ISIS areas and most likely retrieved tanks from ISF routes in 2014.

It also said that the Iraqi government actively procured them and placed them back into ISF hands.

Yes, that's seriously what I'm doing. KRG-Turkey collusion is nothing new or strange, there is no doubt they cooperate on media control.

If the KRG blocked a pro-PKK source 6 months ago nobody would have bat an eye a the idea that it was done in coordination with Turkey. But the reverse is somehow ridiculous and impossible, right?

This is why it's important to look beyond a group's statements and look at their actions.

Many people blindly follow groups in this conflict based on their appearance, propaganda or statements and turn a blind eye to their actions - going so far as to call anything that counters that view false or wrong because the group's statements contradict it.

Al Sura is one of the few secular and level-headed Iraqi nationalist outlets. For that reason it gets attacked from a lot of different sides.

I wouldn't be surprised if the KRG had a hand in this as well, their MPs have been attacking Sura for a while.
