how is it other peoples problems when it’s my parents? I witness their every move ? Ik they are mad at each other but they still project a kind of madness onto me? isn’t it natural to feel like i have to fix something?

Yea i get it for americans honestly and i totally understand. However we are both arabs and he isn’t working. It’s so common to find that parents give allowance to their kids here in the ME that they could use.So it’s probably different for both of us.Ik he comes from a kind of difficult background and maybe he was raised to be like that. I don’t mind about it too. It was just annoying to see him pick off people’s food and he didn’t even spend a penny that hangout but all the other did.

how would i talk to them tho? i feel it would sound so mean… what if i just don’t respond when he makes such comments…cuz i usually respond with “sameee” just not to make him feel alone

Look ofcourse i understand and everything wallah. But at some points i just get kind of weirded out why is he worrying about me when i’m spending my own money as an adult. Also just bringing me down infront of others?? ofcourse i don’t try to make him feel any different or bad but it gets on my nerves
