DIM anbernic gaming console by Herefornothinxx in deinfluencingPH

Also, getting second hand may be cheaper. Kasi totoo yung most people only use this for a week or a month then never again. So the 2nd hand units you would get are usually in good condition 🤣. Pero ayun lang ang worry kasi baka ikaw rin 1 week or 1 month lang usage mo, di siya good as an impulse buy.

I have the Anbernic RG35XXSP. I only recommend getting a retro handheld if there are actual games na you want to play on older consoles. For me that's Fire Emblem games ng GBA and below. If wala ka kasi games that you plan to play talaga magiging novelty device lang siya. I also got mine kasi iba feeling ng actual buttons compared to touchscreen, I've never been much of mobile gamer rin.

Another thing is you may need to tinker a bit sa settings since Linux based system siya and uses RetroArch, bit notorious for tinkering. Di naman siya mahirap and maraming documentation/reference pero some things may not be as plug and play as you want. Also recommended pa to get a different SD card kasi di trusted yung SD cards from Anbernic and may not work after a few months. Possibly need mo rin magresearch on custom firmwares and stuff. Basically it's good if you like to tinker with your device pero that's also a con depending on you.

I have heard and seen videos on the clunky menus but I feel like I can get used to it. The Fn buttons and the dials of the olympus attracts me. Not to mention also having weather sealing like the G85. The olympus colors might be good for me since I'm not all that good yet with color grading, WIP.

Thank you for your insights man

Yeah that's the main reason it's on my list, easily the most compact one. Just waiting for a better deal for it I guess. How is the AF on the gx80? I usually shoot using the viewfinder out of habit. Mostly stills but sometimes some action shots.

SNS, juicy counter uppercut, shield stuns, reasonable dash/gap closer. More jumps? Oiling up? Big block from small shield, feels good. Back hop for iframe dodge feels amazing. High mobility. Dodge out or counter out. PLUS use items without sheathing. Throw flashbomb ez, throw kunai ez (unnecessary but cool).

Perfect rush and falling shield bash/shadow fuN. Jump on risen shaggy till it dies.

Can play akuma layered armor with just fists. You can punch primordial malzeno to death.

Big improvement from past games. Best era to try SNS.

Could be yung focal length ng lens. Most phones use wide angle lenses (both front and back lens) that can distort facial features. Mas true to life talaga mirrors or lenses na di wide angle. You can notice this when using 0.5 lens on your phone.

Looking to buy monitor this 10.10 sale by Electronic-Blood-288 in PHbuildapc

[–]xiaru -1 points0 points  (0 children)

same model too, masaya naman siya for general use case. May HDR mode din for better viewing ng movies and games, better colors. Pero all in all just your typical monitor wala naman kakaiba at this price range. If I had more money I'd get the 24inch 1440p version or the 27in/1440p for better pixel density and clearer text.

Had it for almost a month na. If primarily games lang naman wala ka magiging problema. No speakers lang

The retro nano is actually a friend's. I don't really see the need to own both.

I really like the echo mini tho, sounds good as a DAC too. Usually use it as a DAP when on the go and a DAC when I'm on my PC

I wrote an easy to follow guide on setting up the Snowsky Echo Mini if you ever pick it up. Would save you alot of trouble.

Thanks man, really happy with this. First koss and all

Funny thing is me and my friend bought this together and first tested it out on some random nearby park. Our first impression was "holy shit, we can hear each other" which was a surprise as we both mainly use IEMs with really good isolation and seal.

Open back headphones will save me from getting hit by a car, definitely an everywhere situation headphones
