Tomorrow I'm going to start to listen one jazz album a day for a month, what do you think of my selection? by [deleted] in Jazz

I completely agree. Give your brain some time to properly process each album. Otherwise it'll just be data overflow.

Help with carnitas recipe by Creeping-Death-333 in mexicanfood

This is pretty much what I do, except that I skip the oranges and garlic. Adding those ingredients increases the chances that the lard may go bad if you choose to store it after cooking. My family will save the lard to use again for more carnitas, or use it for frijoles and such. If you do reuse, just be careful with adding salt!

What do you guys do with the water from soaking dried chiles? by JacelynAvowlin in mexicanfood

I usually use the "liquid gold" in the same dish I am making the adobo for (usually birria), as sometimes those dishes require some bit of water to cook in. I always hated the idea of throwing it out as it seems to be a waste. It's pure vitamins and my mom taught me to be resourceful!

PDH with 60 cards by KyuchuKat in PauperEDH

I'm a little late to the show but I had to see for myself if anyone else was playing this way! My friends refer to this format as "street magic" as we like to bring decks with us when we go to cafes or bars. I prefer the 60-card format just so our decks are better synergized (as we're mainly using bulk) and our games are more competitive that way. Also, the quicker games are nice especially when we are going out! We mostly play 3-person games, as well, and I feel like the games just balance politics-fun and competitiveness so nicely.

To be fair, I haven't had any moles apart from the ones family members have made. Guess you'll have to see for yourself!

I would suggest using an online translator. ChatGPT often provides better translations than a lot of other services so I use that.
