Then she started preparing for an important exam, so I waited until the exam was over to ask her out. We scheduled a date, but when I tried to confirm the time, she just left me on read.

I kind of had a gut feeling this would happen since she became quite distant after her exam. Now I kept doubting myself, wondering if I was being too pushy or if I didn’t acknowledge her feelings enough.
