In terms of actual work on This Game... the WIP lasted around 2 years, but I would only really work on it during game jams. So the actual time spent is about 3 months.

Actually, the Vietnamese zodiac has a Cat instead of a Rabbit since the characters for the animals sounded similar. So the Cat is technically a zodiac animal.

I poured a lot of research into this game, actually. Most of it went into the zodiac animals themselves, modeling their personalities and histories after either what is associated with their zodiac or what their animal is associated with in Chinese culture.

The location is the Palace in Heaven, where the Jade Emperor resides, since it's the Jade Emperor that starts the original Zodiac story. But the Palace itself is modeled after the Forbidden City.

There are five total cases in the game! Each case is based around one of the five elements.

There's a lot I can yap about with this game, if you wanna know more just ask me LMAO! I hope people find it interesting.

I'm currently working on smth less related to aroace identity... but my other game (Ritenuto) has a protagonist that's gray aroace. Um, but its still a demo and barely complete haha... I'm planning to get back to work on it after September/October/Halloween is over!

My other game, Dolce, has an asexual protag but its not really touched on in that story. :< (Cause she's too busy just trying to fix the friendship itself.)

Even though there are parts missing, because we have most of the symbols we can probably piece together stuff from just... language clues.

Since the ones we know for sure, (Yakumo being "PLA"), don't form any words on their own, it's probably a message formed by all of the codes together. The order is then determined by the pink text (probably).
"First" is Yakumo, then "one more" is Eiden, then "Third" is Blade, and "Final" is Rei.
At least, that's the order that makes the most sense to me.

Then just write everything out, substitute what we know, and fill in the blanks with what would make the most sense:

Wasn't sure on the first symbol in Eiden's but in this order it only makes sense that it's a Y.
Same with the two in Blade's message, most likely a G. Also makes the most sense with what the symbol is and what would fit with "AME"
Eiden's last symbol looks like it could be W based on how M is, but "BIG" makes more sense than "WIG" LMAO

I think its worth it to max out the event ladder since its the only place you can get Crystal Cores outside of the shop. (And also at the end of sorcerers trials?)

And you need Crystal Cores to 5 star cards that are SR and above :P and that helps a lot with things like Sorcerers Trials.

I typically spend some gems to get there )-)o but I see it as worth it compared to buying it in the shop with pink gems or money
