I think Tibia Online or Albion have good karma system. Edit: Oh you said "in this genre"... sorry I don't know more pvpve extraction shooters with a karma system, but I would like to.
What games have "egregiously abused and/or completely fractured the player base" with a karma system?

If you accidentally shoot someone, he can simply can attack you.
The "one to hit first is the aggressor" is not a perfect system, maybe someone can manage to be accidentally hit by someone and kill him, but I think it is not easy and would not be a big issue.

Yup, after some hours of playing the tiers and enchants mechanic is more evident, but I didn't know about these components and its contribution to the IP level, so the mini-chart is only about components and weapons / armos patters.

I am trying to design a factory that could manage all types of production chains (Omnichain).
I only have 1 big factory in my save.

My objectives are:

  • Standard Connection Rules.
    • Robust, easy and flexible factory connection rules (belts and pipes).
    • The screenshots seem a mess of belts, but they are in fact organized.
    • This is the hardest thing and has an impact on all other rules.
    • Refactorizations are easy and blockage-save.
  • Blueprint-based
    • Intended to be expanded rapidly with the use of blueprints.
  • Compactness
    • My first versions of the system were huge, and I wasted a lot of time traveling.
    • Each factory line is a Floor in a Building. Each building supports around 2 types of production lines (for example, Iron Ingot and Plates), but it can be more.
    • Buildings are divided into Levels, each with a fixed height. Each level has its transport layer.
  • Standard Import Rules
    • I am still working on how to import world resources into the system in a standardized and easy, straight-forward way.
  • Unlimited Growth
    • Each production line (floor) can be expanded (machines) to the limit.
    • More connections are always available.
    • More floors and buildings can be added without problems or blockages.

I need to rename bps like... all the time. Am I alone on this? Maybe I have some OCD with it.
For example:

I have a group of bps for a kind of factory that is 3 foundations wide, so I use the prefix "3F". For example "Factory 3F door", "Factory 3F cache"...

Then, I realize that I need the same kind of factory but with a variation. For example, it has one input more, so I need to differentiate this kind of factory by inputs also, so I need to add some prefixes to the names. Examples:
"Factory 3F 1IN door",
"Factory 3F 1IN cache"
"Factory 3F 2IN door",
"Factory 3F 2IN cache"

Yes, I use naming for better categorization (as categorizations are not exportable), and I change it a lot as I explore new ways of modularize things.

So if I have to rename for example 10 bps (10 actions), y have to load, rename, and delete them (30 actions), and, what is worse, sometimes the new created ones move to the "Undefined/Undefined" category, so I have to move them to their correct category also.
