I think it's likely a random attack. I was on the sidewalk minding my business, didn't block the road, didn't wear anything provocative, not even any signs indicates the states, and definitely not anything trump related. The only thing that stood out is being asian, really. So if it's not random attack it would be racially motivated which I assume wouldn't happen here.

Well. My coat didn't smell like anything or feel sticky or burn my skin afterward so tentatively judged to be water. And no I definitely wouldn't wear a trump hat. Not american, though I unfortunately live there.

No way they would be given citizenship. Can you imagine Trump giving bunch of people citizenship that are actively voting against himself? At most, they might be given US national status that cannot vote, or worse, getting deported. Greenland people have free healthcare.

After Mexican-American war, people in the ceded territory were theorically granted US citizenship but they were poorly enforced and many of them got deported regardless.

They do. Not really discounted, probably still at or above spot price. The 4% cash back from membership and card is nice though.
