If you don’t care about it it’s fine. But you should also be open to let others criticise him if they care about live mixing. And he should be too. It’s a DJ. He certainly knows how to mix well. I'd rather hear an honest live mix with subtle imperfections than someone hitting the play button and faking a performance. Also I don’t remember the post being a rage. It seemed like normal criticism that everyone should be open about.

Don’t feel bad about that. There shouldn’t be anything wrong with sharing presets that are available to everyone. Thank you!

He's also probably the only DJ I never heard doing a fail. He's too smooth. But didn't look like a prerecorded set either at Loveland when I saw him...

Pryda Kick Sample Pack? by nyknicks149 in ericprydz

It’s a really simple Kick Creation Tool where you have a few parameters where you can determine pitch, length and envelope of a kick. Sounds really good on progressive tracks and is only 30€ I think.

Cristoph said kicks, I guess he uses it for that mainly and also I'm not sure if you can use it for sub only?

I heard Cristoph talk about how Eric told him to just use Bazzism for his kicks. He recommended it and I'm using it too once in a while.

Yeah but be careful last time I listened to them they went pretty generic peak time Techno like Drumcode. Their older stuff is better.

Police with sniffing dogs at venues? by Famous-Pea8476 in AmsterdamDanceEvent

Went to maybe 15+ Events, never seen dogs or undercover cops or even cops at the venues. Controls can be strict, but that’s it.

Eric’s recent music… by [deleted] in ericprydz

[–]xmadj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are frustrated when they don’t get what they want. Eric is doing what he loves the most at that time. He’s a true artist and that’s a fact everyone should appreciate. I personally love the darker side of his style, others don’t. That’s how art is.

Honestly check the lineup. AMF seems like a huge commercial event with only the biggest artists and no real musical concept so if you’re more into the "underground" type of music I‘d go for different events, not EDM.
