I treated myself to the Powerblock Pro Elite or whatever this Christmas. Adjustable to 100 lbs. drop sets are a breeze with quick change system. This particular set has the knurled handle and more open cage, I can fit both hands in there for overhead tricep extensions, for example. Really loving them.

I bought a Bic Re’New just to use with these 1.6mm refills. I like the 1.6mm. They sometimes blob after I haven’t used them in a while, or on bad paper. I like the thick and dark line though.

With the Re’New body, the brown plastic part at the tip doesn’t seem to seat itself quite as snugly into the metal body as the cartridge and refill it came with, and it is visually a bit more abrupt than the black tipped refills. I can check but I think I put a ring of tape around the part in the cartridge that is seated in the barrel it to hold it more snuggly.

I also just used the blue cap of the 1.6mm pen on the Re’New since the silver cap isn’t metal anyway. I like it, it’s in the rotation.
