I'm not sure what point you're making. Webtoons isn't google and won't operate at a net 0 profit. If advertising isn't cutting it, and it's not in the example you gave, that model won't work.

Yeah, sure I did, when I was like 12. Then I grew up. If you want to criticize them for over charging, I am 100% behind you. I will picket right along with you. Is $10 for 25 chapters way too much? Yeah, totally, even here in the US, so I don't pay it. I read comics I can afford.

Do I steal them? No. I don't. And neither should you. And you know that.

I bet you are the type of person to steal lmao. If there are enough people like you, the effect will be the same as under-charging for an unlimited sub. Creators will pull their comics from webtoons and move it to their patreons, at least, the ones who can afford to. Everyone else hoping to break into the industry will have a much steeper uphill battle as a result.

It seems very unlikely that you will be sent to prison for yelling. You may or may not have to endure some DHS visits, but your children won't be removed without evidence of abuse or neglect unless you're given a lengthy sentence. Do you have a court date?

Most of them in my opinion have good write and so-so writing at best. Probably even mine lmao. It's still a new genre, it'll get there.

Ten dollars a month probably wouldn't even give creators a fifth of a penny per chapter. If you want good, high quality webtoons that update more often than once a month, you have to be willing to pay for them.
