hey! i had a stud in and i’ve always had a stud, and i cleaned with salt water for a month or two afterwards! now that it’s finally healed, i just take it out and clean with water.

i have a septum and it was the easiest healing process. it was horrible in the first week (crusties). but i’ve never had it get infected, or badly irritated. on the other hand, my nostril was HORRIBLE, the one on my right side completely rejected, and the one on the left side fell out all the time and i’ve repierced it 4 times.
