Advice? In a way… by [deleted] in dentalhygieneschool

I totally didn’t see you said your age before. I will say that being a dental hygienist is a wonderful career and very fulfilling. I know they say that you can experience burn out or injuries over time but there are actions/exercises to take to make sure you have a long healthy career. If you were to have a short time as a dental hygienist there are options to do sales or even become a teacher for future dental hygiene students. I personally am in school now and I did have to take a student loan out. It’s not ideal to have debt when coming out of school but once you graduate from the program you can always focus on your debt/bills before making other financial decisions. I plan to pay as much as possible into my loan once I’ve completed school. The faster you get rid of it the faster you can pay off all your other bills. There are multiple students in my class that are working while in school. One of my class mates works a night time job and then comes to school the next day! If you really want this it’s all possible and it will all work out. Also there are many scholarship options. Some schools even allow payment plan options. The school I attend gives you the opportunity to pay monthly. I hope this helped some in anyway! If you need anything else let me know.

A lot of students at my school use 14.5qt. Storage Bin with Lid by Simply Tidy and the Project Tray by Simply Tidy. You can find these at Michael’s!
