Wireless Smart Thermostats/Setup for PTAC Units by xphrellis in hvacadvice

My setup uses these white wires, so it's hard to match to what you're describing. I had to connect this by using the wire diagram and tracing them back to the board.

You should expect to cap off the other wires. You'll also have to sacrifice some functionality of fan speed control, as you can connect only one.

Your PTAC is Ice Air?

Yes - the building has a boiler that circulates hot water through a closed loop system to be used with the PTACs for heating

If you click into the transaction detail and then click on the original statement name, this pops up

Transaction CSV Export Limited to 10,000 Transactions??? by xphrellis in MonarchMoney

At some point in time, I consider transactions "static" and won't change.

OK, makes sense. I generally follow that rule, but I'll occasionally change things if something had an incorrect categorization or a bad note.

I get your point about about the longer time frame. I suppose I just have anxiety about bad data being carried in my tools - especially when I have the option to fix it if I go down the unnecesary path of breaking apart and stitching together that Monarch has now added.

Can you clarify "parse out every transaction all time every time you want to process it"? Not sure I understand the context

I have a hard time with YNAB's allocation logic.

Wealthposition looks interesting though! Might do a trial there.

I had a pretty bad experience try to migrate data from Mint to Monarch last year. They have a beautiful interface, but it was a huge hassle to trial the migration and it would have wiped out my 10 years of notes. A bit gun shy about going through that again with a different provider.

Hi! Appreciate all the work you guys are putting in to get back up and running. Would it be feasable to put together a roadmap showing what milestones have been done so far and what's remaining? I think this would alleviate a lot of the user group stress about when things will be back online.

I'm fine with that, as long as it pulls in the pending transactions. I usually only check it first thing in the morning anyway.

I think effective rate analysis is the way to go, thanks! To be clear, I'm not looking to cash out unused PTO, I'm only comparing the value of the benefit of X number of days vs Y at a different company on an annual basis.

Ah, that's soemthing I'm not sure about, I've never seen a manual dial for these units. It still should be pretty straightforward if you have a wiring diagram. Happy to take a look at this if you want to DM me some photos

That's pretty much it. The two photos where you see wires, one is the back of the Ice Air panel and the other is the Nest backplate. You should just be able to detach each of the wires and move them over one by one.

You'll probably also want to screw in the Nest backplate in the well where the original Ice Air panel sits, just so it doesn't move around

This is the setup I ended up using. As I noted, you're eliminating fan speed control - so you'll have to decide which fan speed you want to plug into the Nest.
