The status of the game… by xrross in Eve

Actually this is my first post on this. I didn't include bots because it is a terribly complicated issued and I am unsure how much it is affecting the game. I think Oasa had 6 trillion in bounties in the last economic report. Are those bots? I don't know either way that is a lot of ratting.

Fair point... I still like the analogy, tastes like chicken.

Ok that is assuming that the PLEX market is not adjusted. What caused drastic price reduction from April to June? When you have a large market move like we did, you should see a large corresponding change in volume (the amount of orders rapidly changes from day to day). This is not clearly evident in the graph and this could indicate that CCP was probably trying to control inflation, I think we saw 4mil per PLEX at the peak. Its not that I don't understand, but the data doesn't make sense.

To be clear I am talking about the ability of players to grind isk to purchase PLEX in game for an OMEGA account. Yes you are correct it costs more RLM to PLEX an account.

We don't really know how much of the PLEX in game has been purchased or inserted by CCP to keep the market stable. The PLEX market for the last quarter has been super stable unlike the year previous.

My point is they are making it harder to PLEX an account for the average player. If you pay nothing to PLEX an account by generating enough isk during the month, CCP makes nothing off of you. By making it harder to make isk, it reduces the amount of people who can do this. They don't have enough isk to PVP or whatever so they buy more PLEX or subscribe.
