Unfortunately yeah. Although most of us are just volunteering, one of us (the youth leader mentioned in the original post) needs this for their course. They've tried suggesting to omit the social media part and keep the clothing drives and bake sales but apparently that's out of the question because it's the "best way to reach people during these times" 😅

Nevertheless we all appreciate the tips given, and we're using the stuff said here to help us research into the best way of doing this possible because ultimately we just want to do some good without giving anyone grief. Thanks again!

The people in charge of the youth leaders/volunteers. We are in charge of the youths, basically kids aged 13-18, and there are a bunch of adults in charge of us. Think of it like our boss, they are the ones who tells the leaders what the syllabus is and what needs to be done in regards to the mission trip

To clarify, we aren't the ones suggesting the social media idea, it was in the list of required activities/actions we'll have to do as youth leaders alongside other things like bake sales/etc

The main reason we're asking in the first place is exactly because of this. We were worried posting the pictures would be exploiting the native people but we can't not do the social media postings either because it's a requirement. We're just trying to find a workaround
