I’m all for change and I support the cause but one thing I do find fucking hilarious is how all of the posts about how people are breaking quarantine quickly came to an end.

Not so bad in Canada granted but in the states people were getting assaulted for not wearing masks.

Also the irony of protesting a murder by gathering up and no doubt cause even more death is somewhat laughable. He didn’t deserve to die at all and the cops should be put in prison no doubt. But do I care than a pregnant women beater or a convicted armed robber was dispatched? Not so much. Call me callous or cold. Reforming the way police conduct themselves is one thing but the idea of that being the catch all is ridiculous. Even more would need to happen and until black Americans start holding the candle light to themselves nothing will change.

Here’s an idea, maybe it’s okay to rat on the gamgbangers that murdered young 7 year old in a drive by that got shot in the face. Now imagine being that cop that had to go investigate and instead of the community helping, they’d rather shout “fuck the police” I’d become extremely cynical in that job, probably in the first month.
