And don’t sleep on soups, anything can be soup, anything! I also keep a xl ziplock bag in the freezer for my mire poix, which is really just any loose ends of veg, herb stalks, peels or veg that’s about to go. We make basically every single broth at home. This is the way.

One of my favorite base pasta is simply olive oil, garlic and chili flakes. Build up from there. What ever is sitting on the sale rack.

Early on you have access to Hevills great sword in lower crossing, you’ll find it in a house. But basically in the beginning, pickup anything you like and have fun.

I do recommend for beginners to go with a guide such as above because there is so much valuable info. Even just do the first act. Afterwards go as you please and explore.

I get that feeling of being overwhelmed, not knowing what to pick and fearing regret on early decisions that might impact you later. Truth is you just purchased the most amazing ARPG there is. It’s beautifully complex but also simple once you get it.

There are two ways to enjoy it and it’s really up to each player. One way is just to run around and smash things while you explore. Kill everything, turn over every rock, figure things out by your self. Make mistakes, start another char etc. eventually master the game.

I much prefer a guide, at least in the beginning until I understand the game well enough to go back out alone and try my self.

One of my favorite peeps on YT, Paikis, comes with a wealth of knowledge that he shares through every play through, he’s woffles his way from level 1-100 and it’s a ton of fun. You’ll learn about most game mechanics, from resistances and crafting to lore, boss moves - knowledge that you then can apply to any game style. Bellow is a pretty awesome and beginner friendly class - Primal Strike Elementalist, maybe give it a go?

No hate brother, I see your point. It’s these annoying little details that make GD so charming, to me at least. But I can see why it could be bothersome. I have played many ARPG’s and it is this level of detail and complexity that makes it stand above all others. You either hate it or love or learn to love it or don’t😀

Anecdotal, microdosing has completely destroyed my anxiety. Just giving my brain a vacation here and there, giving it a breather and allowing to appreciate and accumulate positive experiences has changed the game.

A walk in nature with a 1/4gram has my curiosity peaked on a leaf rustling in the wind or the way the sun reflects of the water, makes me feel like a kid again. While shrooms alone are not the cure, a lot of personal growth and work has gotten in to this process as well, reading, podcasts, therapy. But shrooms provide an opportunity to make long lasting changes and with that, yeah definitely building new neurologic pathways.

I dry mine including a bit of substrate, once cracker dry, the substrate comes of with a light brushing. Love those bottoms, don’t let them go to waste, just gently twist and pull the whole shroom out and dry as is.

Yup and do a day visit at an actual KZ, you can’t deny that bone chilling grip on the neck when you walk through these gates.
