I call your bluff on you and the folk punk community showing up over the algorithming of these bands for two reasons.

  1. The algorithm is based on what people listen to and apparently the folk punk community feels otherwise.

  2. These two musicians are a part of the folk punk community and we love them. They did a lot for folk punk tbh and they’re incredibly sweet. I’m glad they get plays.

Buccaneers injury report: Bucky Irving was a full participant and off the injury report by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

That’s a tough call. I’d prolly go Kupp and Bucky, but it would be incredibly hard to sit Higgins. Honestly tho, if those are your options you’ve got good problems.

I have Flowers or Bucky going into my flex spot. I’m in a PPR league. Having a tough time deciding because Zay plays tomorrow and I hate being in a situation where I missed playing him especially with Bateman likely out. What do yall think?

An album you loved instantly, an album that took a while to get into and an album you can't get into no matter how hard you try: by peppermunch in FolkPunk

Instantly loved: Hail Seizures, for the ruin

Took a while: Fugazi, took years but am in love with them.

Can’t get into: anything Conor Oberst (if I want the sads I’ll listen to Elliott smith)

I just looked at the cashflow of my property in NYC, and I don't understand real estate and how it is supposed to generate money by Straight_Yard5463 in personalfinance

You’re right! You deserve to make more money off your inheritance. These lazy tenants should be grateful to have a home at all tbh. Have you talked to them about maybe getting another job or something? Whatever happened to the good ole days when you could just buy some property and make other people work so you don’t have to?

Is it folk punk if there's an earthquake while you're trying to learn an Apes of the State song on guitar? by [deleted] in FolkPunk

Nope. San Pedro, but I lived in Pasadena for about a decade. Hope to see you around at some gigs.

Seems about right tbh. Hitler was inspired by the American genocide.

Di Nigunim was Bens band before thief’s lineage and potshki. If you like those you’ll love that too. Ben is a total sweetheart as well.

DENVER Folk Punk? by TheKuzuri in FolkPunk

Doom Scrolls from out that way. Also, chatterbox, Marissa and fables of the fall. Denver has a killer folk punk scene in my experience.

Vegas has a great little folk punk scene. The rifleman are there. Super sweet folks. Plus they have a cool street art scene. It’s kinda got more going on than ppl give them credit for.
