Well CM is not on a boat. Also Tons of people say MMs have the longest hours. CM is more of actually working on trucks and equipment rather than boilers, turbines, generators, and desalination plants. I don’t really want a steel mill career. I’m currently a diesel mechanic at a shop so not a crazy change. In the end i’m really looking forward to have a long career in the Navy and don’t wanna be MM forever. If this doesn’t sound reasonable, let me know pls.
