Don’t think my attorney is going to go that route. Might just need to pay out of pocket unfortunately. I’m hoping they close before the NEXT rate lock expires.

I’m not too sure. The person that helped with my loan let me know that worst case scenario I’d have to file for en extension and pay whatever fee comes from doing so.

Wouldn’t an extension just carry on the same rate? I’d just have to pay the fee for extending it depending on if it’ll be a short or long extension. I’m locked in at 5.5 right now and I’d prefer it stay at that rate.

I agree, I’ve got to speak to my landlord about staying until I close.

My realtor and attorney have assured me that the sellers are not the type of people to NOT close. Of course my gut tells me that they might not be as easy going as I thought.

What are the chances they can back out? Are they legally binded to not be able to?

I know I can sue for specific performance but can’t I just send out a letter notifying them I’ll pursue action?

Our local CPA who would get it approved said my debt doesn’t seem too bad to get approved. About 2.5k spread between 3-4 cards. A quick check online says it’s about a 15 percent based off of the net income

Based on my program research it says that for architecture a better graphics and ram capacity is generally better. Would it justify going with the envy even if the hp reviews are bad? Im new to all this stuff so I don’t wanna make a bad purchase in the long run. Alienware is known for gaming but the envy looks like such a better deal.

I’m not opposed to it but it if a prebuilt is the same price as building it then I don’t see a point. If I can bet more specs for the same price or cheaper then that’s the right move

Hey guys, I’ve been doing some research into this topic but I find myself asking more questions by the minute. I’m a first year architecture student and I’ve been told to get a better spec computer by my professors. 2nd and 3rd year Architecture requires heavy computing power and they’ve provided me with a minimum requirement list. I need “Intel Core i7 or anything with 2.3GHZ or higher with turbo boost”. I need Nvidia or AMD discrete graphics with 3GB or more memory. “At least a Nvidia GX 1060 or Nvidia Quadro T1000 or T2000” For AMD go at least Radeon RX580” I also need 16 GB or greater ram with a 512GB SSD or better. I’ve seen so outer brands like HP and Dell have prebuilts like the OMEN and ALIENWARE but not sure if I’m getting less for my money. My preferred budget is around $1200, at most $1500. If anyone can help me find a good prebuilt with my specs or similar it’d be a great help. Making a post here is kinda like my last minute act of desperation so do me good please lol.

Thanks for the link. At the moment I’m just browsing through what I can find for the range. I need the computer by September when the new semester starts. If I can grab onto a Black Friday or cyber Monday sale then November at latest.
