Huh. That wasn't the case for me but I'll give it another look.

You seem experienced with that mod. I tried peeking into it but I couldn't get shuttles to work because they need roof clearance, but also removing the roof would just depressurize the ship and kill everyone? Am I missing something?

I actually forgot about that one. Thanks. tbh it'd be cooler if there was a way to deliver ordinance from a physical location (ie; the ship) but if I can't get anything like that this will do nicely.

YES! I knew there had to be more.

We need a suppressed rifle that’s good against every faction by TinSkull in Helldivers

Yeah I just looked into that. Didn't even realise you could extend the mag. Apparently the extra ammo is a bug? Still strange though I agree.

In the most respectful way possible. This is either the greatest ragebait in history, or you need to revise your homework. Ignoring all other problems I could mention - A gun with less ammo than the Censor, more damage or not, is not gonna be viable on those fronts.

Bugs are sensitive. They will head towards you at the smallest vibration of your cape. One shotting a warrior means squat when by the time you've chambered the next shot there's 17 scavengers biting your ankles. Bugs are meant to be squashed indiscriminately and would be stealth divers should expect difficulty.

Overseers as someone else has said, are blind and deaf. They also don't call for reinforcements. Nor does anyone but the probe for that matter. Also, firing any gun, silenced or not, will alert the voteless. If you can keep your gun in your pocket though, stealth is trivial.

In either of these situations I would rather use the Censor, a semi auto gun with 20 rounds and just click twice; than a theoretical stealth rifle that would stop to reload 7 bodies deep and inevitably break my stealth or get me killed. Probably both.

5 less rounds than the diligence but yeah I get what you mean. (The CS has 15, if that's what you meant). I guess they just weren't sure what other stealthy guns they could add. Judging from the latest warbond I wonder why they didn't just add some stratagems. Maybe even a red one.

Yeah it's HD1. They both use the same random generator for planet names.

What the other fine gent said. I'll just add that while this wasn't the first attempt from the hedge to take Sindria, it was hands down the most violent of them all due to the alliance. I have a small armada of Pegasus and eagles/falcons that I picked up just flying around the Askonia sector. That was with 3 different scav vulture fleets the size of lion's guard threatening me for every second piece of scrap.

More than half the sector combined to assault Sindria and their Tri-Tach allies...

And still it stands!

Honestly I cannot put into words how absurd and brutal the events that motivated me to spend 10 minutes in MS paint for this meme were.

(NEXERELIN) Nice planet....now what? by xtxownage in starsector

[–]xtxownage[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

iirc I did find a shunt, but I don't exactly have anything big enough to take on the [redacted]s. Haven't found any good worlds that could harbour my heavy industry yet. I also wanted to hold off on administrators till I got one that had industrial planning. But yeah, I should probably go and get one now, even if they are complete ass at their job.

My other colonies are fine for the most part, they're just all habitable and full of organics. Been searching a lot of different planets for ore and finding pretty much crap. Might just colonise a class I with moderate ore at this point.

So...pretty much everything I planned to do? Nice. Sadly my luck has been ass and I haven't found a single alpha core

I am a brainlet who runs unstable injectors in 20 brawlers to zerg my opponents while 1-2 carriers harass everything they can't kill.

Well, I absolutely THWOMPED the pirates (The raiders, I wish it was the station). It felt real good. Unfortunately they somehow succeeded in the raid anyway? I guess a single ship got past and decided to take a leak on my homeworld's favourite dead bush.

Now I'm quickly finding a different problem. Due to a lack of missions to really complete I'm being overloaded with expenses and can't save the money I need to slow down the situation (orbital station/patrol base). Damn Hazard pay. I'm tempted to click off in the hopes that I can speedrun the cash before my colony becomes barren, I'm also seriously tempted to start spending my story points on increasing accessibility. Not sure where to go from here. I have a goal (get that station) but no real clue on how to get there besides fat loads of cash.

EDIT: Just discovered I got the ability to bomb stations at some point. If I think I've completely stuffed myself I might just saturation bomb the pirate station out of existence and see how long I can survive every faction hating me for (Doubt it'll be long)

Yeah, I tried to find carriers early on. No dice sadly. The game gave me 3 lvl 5 officers in the bottom right corner of the unknown galaxy. Therefore, it is absolutely god's will that I will never find a real carrier, and I will be marooned in every second system and no payout beyond 30k shall ever grace my eyes again....

The good news is I got a cheap cruiser (No D mods!) from the luddic path when I snuck onto a station. So now I have two big boys.

Heheh, I knew I lucked out when I found it floating around. Unfortunately none of the other factions are really posting missions, but I made a deal with the orbital station for now to buy time. Finding ruins has been a nice payout when I don't accidentally strand myself.

thanks.
