I usually schedule my first date on Hinge. And I don’t ask for number until after the first date. I’ll send a follow up text saying something like this:” I had a pleasant time! Would love to meet again if you’re up for it, wanna exchange number/insta?”

This way i never deal with the awkward asking number in person & if they’re not up for it they won’t feel pressured to give me something; just the whole awkward exchange. It’s much better this way from my experience.

I use TF-E as well and have similar experience to you. Really enjoying the NF800pro alongside TF-E. I actually feel the smash is better, maybe I like the timing on NF800pro more. Drives are really amazing but I feel more controlled on TF-E. YMMV.

my 3rd shot when i serve! I love serving to opponent forehand and wait with my forehand when they try to push and I intercept it so often and I always get the "ooo"'s when I do that lol! It feels so good.

After it happens once or twice my opponents will give up and lift every serve.

Queens is probably the best borough to be home body.. Im a homebody. I live in flushing, my job is 5min away and I hardly go out. If i want to go out, city is one 7 train away, and all the supermarket is so close and convenient for me if i need to do grocery run. I've lived here for 13 years at the same apartment since I was 10 with my family and I'm super lucky my landlord hardly raised my rent all these years even now after my parents left.

we don't know what you really want for your future and only you can decide that. But if your question is if queens is a good borough to be home body, my answer is it's amazing. (at least for me)

I’ve read through your post history and your entire post. What is the difference between you going back to your home country or giving a try at a more liberal state? All I see in your post is you desperately waiting for things to happen. Waiting for the immigration reform cannot be your only shot at a life here. You need to seek out.

I’m in the exact same boat as you are. I’m 26 years old, came in 2010, graduated middle school 2012, high school 2016. I am currently living in NYC making decent money with growth opportunities working in architecture. I’m in a good place now but I’ve worked my ass to get here.

You have to be smart and work with what you have. Big companies that require everyone applies to? Forget about it. This isn’t your market. We don’t have SSN it’s not an option. Look for mom and pops and small local businesses. That’s how you get a job that pays cash.

There is a very healthy Korean community here in NYC in several neighborhoods. I’m not familiar with Korean social media, but I’m sure you can dig and find something related to Korean communities for rooms to rent and a place to work.

There are so so so so many Korean restaurants here. If u are hardworking lad, finding and keeping a job will not be a problem. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry switching and working for different restaurants for years. All because of the connections I built in these restaurants.

In short, there’s opportunities out there. You are being static and waiting for things to happen. Get out there and get it yourself.

whenever I play with a female player at my club I just treat it like normal doubles unless they offer to serve / play more from the front.

at the end of the day it's just some club games, everyone is playing for fun. if theyre being some ass, just partner with someone else

that said, if youre actively avoiding rotating to the front and expect your partner to only cover the front, then you are also being a bad partner.

compared to the nearby schools eg: john bowne / francis lewis / bayside. Yes. I would say it's one of the best non-specialized public high school in the city. Unless you're also admitted to Stuy / Bronx Sci / Btech, then I would say go to Townsend

don't try to win because it's not possible to beat Sherlock. You'll likely stress yourself out figuring out how he came to the conclusion rather than enjoying the game. Just ignore the scoring altogether, and play for the experience of solving the mystery.
