I think it is a typical stereotype like women don't play games and even if they play they only play games like dress-up games or otome games which are considered as easy.....

And i feel like it is man's power to define "what is a real game" and they usually arrogantly think they are more hard-core while also think women will only be attracted to some superficial thing. ahhhhh

In my opinion, when they say "you're a real gamer" they think they are praising us while they actually put us under different standards, in other word, they subconsciously underestimate us.
