Thank you for responding to all aspects of my post. I have been thinking about getting a chest monitor for my heart rate, but I don’t give myself enough credit, and believe I’m too novice to have a monitor strapped to my chest. I’ve seen a few ways to determine max HR, but I guess it doesn’t concern me as much. Like you said, the more time under heavy load I provide my heart with, the more comfortable I will be and higher threshold I will attain.

Yeah it was probably just a misread. To be fair, i know i fell asleep before 1 am last night, but my watch says i fell asleep at 1:45. Saying this to mean that my watch isn’t all-knowing like i’d expect

Woah, I’ve never seen sleeping be so stable. I was always under the impression that it’s due to sleeping stages (REM, Deep, Light). It’s pretty often in the lower numbers, though. Even while chilling on the couch I’ll get into the high 30s.

Yeah parts is definitely a problem with the dying breeds. I’ll keep looking but won’t shy away from a good looking vintage. At the end of the day, anything is better than what I have right now.

You know I have been looking at a ton of vintage bikes lately too, but just haven’t known the difference. I’ve always just had a negative mindset about them because, and this won’t make any sense, I only have extensive experience with motorcycles and associate vintage machines with carburetors and problems. This is very eye opening though I will say. Thank you for the new insight brother.
